Bill: Réforme Socialiste Republicaine/Socialist Republican Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti Socialiste
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4626
Description[?]:
The Parti Socialiste wishes to eliminate the unnecessary and, frankly, bothersome Parliamentary system in favour of the foundation of a Presidentialist Republic. Moreover, the important matter of nobility and the Rildanorian monarchy is addressed in this bill, effectively eliminating any vestiges of Monarchist influence in our Constitution, State and Nation. This change pushes forwards the major reform to the structure of our State regarding the separation of the Head of Government and the Head of State. With this reform, these two positions will be merged under the new Président position, which will act as the Head of State, Government and the Executive branch of the Rildanorian State. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
