Bill: Protection of Animals Unable to Consent

Details

Submitted by[?]: Pursue Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4628

Description[?]:

Well, this one should be a no-brainer. I imagine that our big government is so convuluted that it might've overlooked this specific issue.

Do my fellow leaders realize that, in the Great Republic of Likatonia, bestiality is 100% legal? That's right. I can pull out a Turkey right now and stuff it for Sunday dinner and not one of you could say otherwise.

All kidding aside. We of the Pursue Party have no issue with consenting adults doing whatever they would like, but animals cannot give consent, nor do they understand the logic behind it.

Let's clean up the books. Vote Yes to criminalize bestiality.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "The problem is big government. If whoever controls government can impose his way upon you, you have to fight constantly to prevent the control from being harmful. With small, limited government, it doesn't much matter who controls it, because it can't do you much harm." - Harry Browne
