Bill: The LPA's Cabinet Proposal of February 4661

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Progressive Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4661

Description[?]:

The Conservative Party has put forward a proposal that has us in four positions. We are grateful to them for that. However, we would be willing to go down to two positions, shared equally with other parties, as it has long been our belief that the largest party in the cabinet should hold the position of Head of Government. We have always stood by this principal whether this is relevant to the LPA or not.

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law.
