Description[?]:
members of the Assembly, The government is shielded in "individual freedom" to allow this type of business to proliferate for our nation. And all of this starts from a misconception of what "freedom" is. Freedom is not to let everyone do what they want when they want and where they want, because citizens live in society and therefore must adhere to standards. Similarly, the State must be a participant in these norms to guarantee coexistence and equality among citizens. It is a shame that this government allows the proliferation of gambling without any regulation, when all studies show that they always end up hurting the lower classes and the working class neighborhoods, which is where this type of business finds its public. Therefore, it is important and urgent to regularize this market, so that all those citizens who are deceived with the excuse of being able to make easy money and that in the end, ends up harming their own social status can be protected. Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
