Bill: Breaking the Dual Power: Disarming the North

Details

Submitted by[?]: Prince-Republican League - New EAPP

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4730

Description[?]:

In this situation of prolongued diarchy between two coexisting centers of Lodamese power, one in the coastal North and the other in the mountainous South, both competing for the centrally located Daro and all-national legitimacy, something must finally be done. No revolution can remain half-baked for decades and decades. Or can it?
In any case, the few Princely Deputies who somehow ended up on board the (at least mostly) internationally recognized expression of official Lodamese de jure executive power, have now decided to use this happy accident to their advantage and disarm the now almost-traditional political paramilitaries that go along with almost all Lodamese major political forces and have so for as long as most can remember. For self-defence reasons, of course.
Their choice of particular organizations, however, seems to be incredibly one-sided.

OOC: So, I decided that since the Southern ultras got both the Justice and Interior, they'd probably decide to disarm any non-friendly northern left-leaning "rifle clubs", "political security companies" and the like. So, here's a chance for you to RP something on the newspaper.
Oh, and if it does pass and y'all get back to power (which shouldn't take long), I imagine you could just reverse the policy which in IG terms would mean "rearming the sympathizers for *self-defence* reasons".
