Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti Pacifiste Populaire
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4793
Description[?]:
“I would like to ask the Council the question they are probably asking themselves: what if someone uses these weapons against us? Well, what is it that these weapons do? These weapons are not for combat, but for the killing of thousands, millions of innocents! So what if someone uses these weapons against us? Do retaliate by killing their civilians? This would accomplish nothing but death. “Furthermore, we have seen, time and time again, the militaries and governments of nations turn against their people. If such a thing were to happen how strong of a standing army do you hope the military to have? For these reasons, among many others, we urge that this bill be passed.” |
