Bill: State Religion Bill 4820
Details
Submitted by[?]: Alliance Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4821
Description[?]:
The Alliance would like to discover whether the current government would support the adoption of a national religion. The Alliance in no way wishes to impose religious beliefs upon our citizens, nor is our proposal driven by any such desire. Rather we would suggest that adopting a national religion merely reflects and respects the deeply-held beliefs of the vast majority of our population. To this end, the religion adopted would be Hosianism, as this is what nearly two-thirds of our population hold as their religion. |

Old value:: There is no official state religion, but the government only allows recognized religions. 'Cults' are persecuted.
