Details

Submitted by[?]: Jiyū Party of Sekouo (自由党)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4831

Description[?]:

The Jiyū Party of Sekouo (自由党) propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Sekoku (Seko).

This tax proposal will eliminate taxation for earners of <10,000 SEK a year, while also reducing the highest individual tax rate for high income earners (>50,000 SEK) by 32%.

This tax proposal seeks to encourage more investment by the wealthy while also removing an unnecessary tax burden from low-income households and individuals.

This tax proposal will also greatly reduce corporate tax rates to encourage investment and make Seko more competitive in the international economy.

This tax proposal in combination with government spending cuts will maintain and in fact increase our governments surplus while reducing the overall tax burden on the people and businesses of this nation.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
