Bill: Cabinet Proposal of March 4876

Details

Submitted by[?]: Sinistra Ecologista

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4876

Description[?]:

Our intention is to propose one last possibility. Due to the absenteism of the S&D assembly member our previous proposals couldn't get enough votes. We hope all parties would accept the compromise, as we wouldn't be able to offer more as we believe the cabinet should reflect votes' proportions and that biggest parties should have the precedence when deciding their ministries. If this resolution does not pass we would present our reforms to a PNI-FCN-other party majority anyway and wait for the 4877 elections to make a gabinet if our seats are enough

The prime minister will therefore be Alice Diallo (SE) and the deputy prime minister will be the minister of Foreign Affairs (ND)
The cabinet's priorities:
.reforming xenophobic, sexist, homophobic, religiously-fanatic and/or discriminatory laws
.a law to protect sex workers from the black market's exploitations
.reaffirming the importance of natural protection
.reaffirming the importance of worker's representation
.restoring our public services, progressive taxation and social welfare
.a new state budget

Random quote: "Public schools are government-established, politician- and bureaucrat-controlled, fully politicized, taxpayer-supported, authoritarian socialist institutions. In fact, the public-school system is one of the purest examples of socialism existing in America." - Thomas L. Johnson
