Bill: Loi no. II (Sur les impôts)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Bloc des Modérés
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4895
Description[?]:
These measures are motivated by the following considerations: 1. The income tax should be strongly progressive, while not being excessively harsh on higher incomes. 2. The law on profit sharing means that the surplus available for private investment is heavily restricted. For this reason, the corporation tax needs to be greatly reduced. 3. A secular society should treat religious income the same way as other revenue. |
