Description[?]:
Senecan Law on Working Rights and Prostitution This government is firmly committed to ending the exploitation of women and men, including the existence of prostitution. Sometimes, we hear that some women perform this work "voluntarily", but if we enter statistics from anywhere, the percentage of people who comply with this is barely, and in the best of cases, 10%. We must be aware that the other 90% are in this situation due to lack of studies, job preparation, lack of income, etc. And it is the government's responsibility to ensure that this is not the case. The unemployment rate in our nation is one of the lowest in all of Terra, just 2%, and we can reduce this by solving several factors, including this one: prostitution. For this reason, this government will approve a massive program of social integration and public employment, helping women and those who are victims of this disease to study and have an income so as not to fall into destitution, after going to specialized medical and psychological care centers from where they are it will redirect to its next destination to continue the procedures. As of the approval of this law, any client who is arrested taking advantage of prostitution -both female and male- will be sanctioned with a monetary fine according to her income, corresponding to 10% of her monthly salary. Likewise, we want to expand the rights of workers in relation to their working conditions. As of the approval of this law, the government will no longer be the one that approves or does not approve the dismissals due to strikes: it will not be possible to dismiss any worker who is on strike, since these strikes are the engine of social change and of the improvement of working conditions. We have to listen, not punish. Hegio Cyamus Seneca Consul of Selucia |
