Description[?]:
FORT WILLIAM, ORANGE — Foreign Secretary Ardelm Robertson has hit back after Alorian president and self-proclaimed 'king' Alex Williams declared all Luthorian citizens and businesses would be banned from Aloria, and threatened to kill Luthorians in Aloria. Although initial correspondence had been with International Monarchist League official of Luthorian citizenship Irwin Abberton, Mr Williams mistakenly believed that he was in contact with Prime Minister Ethelwin Paglesham, threatening war between Aloria and Luthori and to "attack each member country of the International Monarchist League", displaying a shocking lack of ignorance as to the organisation's workings. The International Monarchist League has had no member states since the treaty providing for such membership fell into disuse sometime in the 44th century, six hundred years ago. Mr Robertson said that President Williams had "demonstrated his complete unfitness for office." "While before today we would have been a bit more diplomatic about it, Mr Abberton's contention that the Alorian president is really just a jumped-up tin-pot dictator is entirely accurate. I am sure he is entirely aware of the consequences if he decides to follow through with his pitiful threats to murder innocent civilians out of anger at a private organisation's recognition that he belongs on no throne. Aloria under his rule is nothing but a rogue state, and he a dangerous animal." |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
