Forged in the fish markets, canalsides, cab and tram drivers' clubs, construction workers' unions, and Orange Lodges of Fort William, Ord is a trade unionist party founded in February 4913 as the Luthorian Workers' Party. The party was led by Ernie Attridge from its founding to 4936, when Tommy Brewer succeeded him. In 4942, the party was renamed.
