Bill: Libertas Religiosa Reformatio 5003
Details
Submitted by[?]: Factio Renatus Seluciana
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 5004
Description[?]:
While we at Factio Renatus Selucia are religious, and wish to promote Religio Seluciana, we do recognize that our colleagues do not hold the same beliefs. However, part of being a secular society is that the state has no prejudice both against the irreligious and the religious. Therefore, these current laws banning religious schools and promoting atheism would go against this. We hope that out fellow legislators will agree that these laws are too restrictive and discriminatory. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
