| The State Directorate of Intelligence Accountability Act is hereby ammended to read as follows: The purpose of this act is to remove the independence from the State Directorate of Intelligence so that it iss an instrument of the policy of the elected government. To do this the following provisions are adopted: 1. Notwithstanding any prior legislation or the reporting thereof, the State Directorate of Intelligence shall be placed under the command and control of the Spolkovy Prezident. The purpose of this measure is to subordinate the State Directorate of Intelligence to command and control by an elected official. 2. The State Directorate of Internal Security shall investigate and report to the Minister of the Interior whether the State Directorate of Intelligence undertook any operations contrary to stated policy of the Council of Ministers, the Spolkova Komora, the Spolkovy Prezident or the Foreign Ministry or undertook any such operations despite express orders from the Spolkovy Prezident with respect to any operations in Vorona. 3. Should that investigation reveal any criminal violations, the Ministry of the Interior will refer them to the Ministry of Justice. 4. Should the Head of State cease to be cease to be elected but rather a hereditary monarch, command and control of the State Directorate of Intelligence shall be transferred to the Premier. Should the Head of State subsequently become an elected official again, command and control of the State Directorate of Intelligence shall then be transferred from the Premier to such elected Head of State.
