| Last year the majority voted against this Act. We, the BSU, were expecting that result. In this correction we are trying to achieve the same goal but less extreme, so we went for the compromise. 5079 February: "Although Baltusia is considered the “melting Pot of Cultures” there have always been tensions between different cultures. But cultures are not the only reasons for tensions between humans, religion, sexuality and family have been the reason for pressure. Even smaller things like where you were born and what sports club you like the most has cost people even their lifes. But recently the gang wars in Santiago, the Street Raids in new Egelion or the smaller, lesser-known Family Murders in Westbrook between the Dundorfian and the Valruzian population have crossed the line long ago. A statistic from 5075 stated that every fourth household owns at least one firearm. Today experts speculate that it could be every third household that owns at least one firearm. We, the BSU, want to stomp down these horrific crimes and giant numbers. Our main goal is to lessen the numbers of crime committed, mainly crime committed by privately owned firearms. In this act you will find a list of proposals that most certainly will extinguish in one way or another these problems. We stand together, BSU" |

Old value:: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
Current: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
Proposed: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.
