Bill: RP: Leadership Contest within the RP?

Voting deadline: November 5103

Description[?]:

In the last months the conflicts within the Reform Party seem to get bigger. Once known for its unity, the RP is know strongly divided on many bigger issues, setting party leader smith under great pressure with many party members calling for his resignation. The most important conflict points are around the future role of the Parker brothers within the party and the current participation of the Reformers with two left parties they once were called "National socialist" and "fascists" by the Reform leadership. Since his announcement to return to the political landscape in the summer of the last it seems to have become clear that Marc Parker once again wants to take over the party leadership of the RP, but also that acting leader Smith doesn't want to give it up, this is especially surprising for political observers because of smiths former labeling as a "puppet politician" of Parker. At last the Reform Party seems to have formed an anti-parker wing within the last which might not like both of them as well as many other members generally disappointed with the party's electoral decline throughout the years of smiths leadership. Right now it is unclear of and how this situation will be solved in the future with some speculating that an extraordinary grand party congress might be called to vote on the leadership, the coalition and some key positions of the RP. This would be the third since the end of the Parker cabinets.

Random fact: In cases where players have failed to clearly and accurately reference their nation's RP laws in the "Bills under debate" section, Moderation will rule them invalid if a challenge is made to their validity.
