Bill: President Edgars Re-elected in a Landslide!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Labour Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 5107

Description[?]:

President Edgars has shocked pundits today, many of whom thought the presidency would be a tight race, by winning the snap election in a landslide. The SDLP also managed to gain a seat in the elections, which has convinced Prime Minister Boehner - who was considering resigning after failing a vote of no confidence - to continue his party leadership and seek a new government.

Speaking on the matter, Prime Minister Boehner gave a speech in Clovisport last night:

“My fellow Likatonians! The Reform Party, despite the clear majority of our citizens supporting the government, decided to move forward with a vote of no confidence and early elections. And you showed up, and you were heard! The Reform Party has collapsed, and we are strong as ever! I am currently in negotiations to form a new government, and I look forward to leading Likatonia further along the path of progress.”
