Bill: Income tax proposal of June 5127
Details
Submitted by[?]: Reformed Ba'ath Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 5128
Description[?]:
With the surplus seen in our balanced budget, we wish to transfer some of this towards the population. As such, those in the middle tax brackets will see a slight decrease in the budget, while those in the higher, upper brackets will see a small increase. We have attempted to modify it as such that it will not change the surplus enjoyed by the nation. Abdul Noor al-Haq Minister of Finance. |
