Bill: RP: Return of the Monarchist Tory Party

Details

Submitted by[?]: Monarchist Tory Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 5138

Description[?]:

After a 135 year period of being de registered with the Electoral Commission in Luthori, the Monarchist Tory Party has been reformed by a group of friends from Shipley, spearheaded by no less than a descendent of Sir Joseph Brown, (the original founder of the party in 4957), Alexander Brown. Old rules and functions of the party have been dug out for use once again as the MTP returns to national politics.

The Monarchist Tory Party is a moderate Conservative party which finds its roots in the desire to protect the monarchy. It is a patriotic party, however it generally takes a secular approach to religious matters. The party has a long history of being against segregation, with a former leader, and Prime Minister, Cornelius Greenwood-Kimbrough having led the efforts to desegregate Luthori in the 4980s.

The party will be led forward into the coming years by Alexander Brown, a descendent of Sir Joseph Brown and a former lawyer, who will be deputised by Peter Humphries, a former journalist and political commentator, who operated particularly at a local level in Shipleyriding.

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
