| The Stigtershof [Office of the President], in recognition of its obligation to inform both the general public and the parliament of appointments to the Economic Advisory Committee (EAC), notes the following:- Wherein the term of the previously appointed Economic Advisory Committee has expired, the Chairman of the EAC shall make recommendations to the State President on the appointment of new members and a chairman. Having considered recommendations from the Chairman, the State President appoints the following members:- Chairman: Dr Adam Van Blerk, Professor of Economics, University of Boerestaat Deputy Chairman: Sarette Bronkhorst, Senior Economic Advisor to the State President → Dr Theolene Witbooi, Professor of Labour Economics, University of Boerestaat → Christo Van Der Byl, Digital Government and Economy Expert → Dr Bayode Labuschagne, Professor of Industrial Economics, University of Kaap → Dr Altus Van Heerdens, Professor of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Saridan National University → Dr Cezanne Zietsman, Professor of Agriculture, University of Ijkpieland |
