| On July 3, 5199; the Je government formally ordered the execution of Shin Jae-Ho and Park Je-Sang. Whilst Park managed to escape and fled to Kalistan; Shin was not as fortunate and was beheaded in public the next day for his "betrayal of the Kyo race". What followed was the execution of all of the previous Shin government ministers and major politicians that were not coup allies. In what would be known as the "Great Purge"; the vast majority of disloyal or wavering bureaucrats were brutally murdered and/or imprisoned as they were replaced by Je loyalists. In the meantime, Park declared a Provisional Government opposed to the new regime abroad; attracting members of the Draniano and Kyo diaspora to the cause. |
