| Our fatherland is not a dumping ground for the benefit of all, undesirable public charges are financial liabilities who needn't place their faith in empty platitudes of integration. Nevertheless, it is not entirely unjustified to provide a haven for those worthy of receiving one; namely professionals, skilled labour, and individuals fleeing religious and political persecution that calls into question their right to physical security and the right to life. Refugees/Asylum seekers aside, immigration should be strictly limited to qualified applicants capable of sustaining themselves without overextending the hospitiality of those among us acting as their hosts. |
