| Repeal of the Declaration of Permanent Neutrality Bill passed in June 4552 which states: Article 1 The Most Serene Republic of Pontesi declares itself to be a neutral and non-aligned state and accepts all customary and treaty-based obligations attached to a neutral status. Article 2 As such all agreements are to be reviewed, all alliances with foreign powers and all foreign military bases in the country dismantled by January 31, 4561. Article 3 The Council of Magisters (the executive) can only deploy troops or otherwise depart from the declared policy abroad upon fulfillment of ALL the following requirements - In compliance with a Security Council resolution. - A vote by an absolute majority of the Council of Magisters. - Approval by a simple majority.by the Great Council (legislature) Article 4 For the purposes of the Declaration, favourable agreements on commercial and cultural matters are not considered to be alliances. |
