Whereas the ongoing civil war in the République de Rildanor raises the real possibility of refugees arriving in our border regions of Camdun and New Orange;

Whereas Mordusia benefits from a strong stable government and has the capacity to assist arriving refugees;

Whereas Mordusia has a large Canrillaise community and a bilingual government capable of serving arriving refugees;

Be it resolved that the House of Commons adopt the following measures to aid arriving refugees, limit the strain on border communities, and contribute to the vitality of the Canrillaise speaking community of Mordusia.

Article 1. Humanitarian Centres
1.1 The Commonwealth shall establish Humanitarian centres in proximity to points of entry from the République de Rildanor. Aid in healthcare, sanitation and food shall be provided;
1.2 Humanitarian Centres shall connect arriving refugees with social services, immigration and refugee agents;
1.3 A temporary rehousing program shall be created to rapidly provide lodging to new refugee seekers.

Article 2. Rehousing program
2.1 In order to reduce the strain on housing, social services and education services in border communities of Camdun and New Orange, a pan-Commonwealth rehousing strategy shall be adopted for legitimate refugee claimants.
2.2 The government shall aid rehousing of Rildanorien refugees in considering the following priorities:
a. Relocalisation within the Province of Camdun, outside of border communities;
b. Relocalisation to Canrillaise speaking communities in minority situation in provinces other than Camdun;
c. Relocatisation to communities expressing a capacity to welcome refugee claimants.
