| An amendment to the Constitution of the Union of Kundrati on the Presidency: Section Two shall remove the office of the Prime Minister of Kundrati (namely Articles V, VI and VII) and such offices of the Prime Minister and the President shall be merged, with Section Three reflecting this. Section Three shall add a new article in between Articles II and III which shall state the following: "The President shall hold the powers of the government and shall rule with advise and help from the Cabinet, comprising of 15 ministers and their departments and the Vice President. The Cabinet members shall have the authority to act from their preorgative upon their assigned ministries, and the President shall also hold the power of selecting his Cabinet for whom the National Assembly approves." Section Three Article V on national emergencies shall be changed to the following: "If there is a national emergency the President may declare martial law only on the advices of the Defence Minister which shall represent the Armed Forces and the Speaker of the Parliament which shall represent the Parliament. However, a martial law bill must be passed with a two-thirds majority from the National Assembly for the President to gain these powers only for the duration of the emergency." |
