An Act to limit the regulatory powers of the executive branch of the Mordusian government Section 1 A regulation imposed by a Minister or head of any executive agency which imposes an economic cost of at least 10 million MRD shall only come into effect once the following has been done a) tabling before the House of Commons' Committee on Economic Affairs (or equivalent) within 90 days of its gazetting. b) approval by such Committee. Section 2 The Committee shall be entitled to review extant regulations and recommend their amendment or abolition to the Cabinet. Section 3 The provisions of this Act shall be waived by the Cabinet on the advice of the Chair of the Committee where it deemed to be in the public interest to do so. |
