Details

Submitted by[?]: Harakat al-Diymuqratiat al-Tanmia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 5413

Description[?]:

In light of the destruction of nearly the totality of the infrastructure in Nashwa, it is the proposal of this government that instead of using reconstruction funds to support the self-destructive and unsustainable trade and use of fossil fuels, these funds should be spent modernizing and pivoting our nation instead.

ARTICLE I: This Act will hereby authorize the creation of the Department of Environmental Sustainability and Protection (DESP) under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance.

ARTICLE II: This Act will approve the construction of three new solar arrays in Nashwa to provide for a future reduction of dependency on oil.

ARTICLE III: This Act will create the Sustainable Car Tax Credit to encourage our citizens to transition to non-fossil fuel vehicles and fuel sources.

ARTICLE IV: This Act will authorize research funding for a search for a new, viable, and eco-friendly fuel source that could be mass produced on the same scale as oil and natural gas.

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.
