Article 1: Funding for Public Transportation Infrastructure 1.1 The funding allocation for the development and expansion of public transportation infrastructure is renewed for projects between the years 5419 and 5429. 1.2 Public transportation infrastructure projects including metro, light metro, light rail, tramway, and bus rapid transit systems are eligible for the program. 1.3 The following projects are decreed to advance to procurement and construction: a. Nyviken (Flindar) BRT [23.1 km, 32 stations]; Procurement: 5420; Commissioning: 5424 b. Drangnaeyjar (Kelvon) Tramway [27.9 km, 37 stations]; Procurement: 5420; Commissioning: 5425 c. Kausinki (Agatha) Automated Light Metro [33.8 km, 44 stations]; Procurement: 5420; Commissioning: 5428 d. Asvald (Kelvon) Metro [28.5 km, 18 stations]; Procurement: 5420; Commissioning: 5429 e. Skalm (Dreton) Metro [22.0 km, 13 stations]; Procurement: 5420; Commissioning: 5429 Article 2: Alternative Procurement 2.1 To accelerate the development and expansion of public transportation infrastructure, the government shall facilitate alternative procurement models, such as the cooperative model. Such models shall prioritize local and regional firms and workers, and ensure that the infrastructure is accessible and affordable to all. |
