Bill: Restoring Freedom of Explosives
Details
Submitted by[?]: Institutional Party of Kalistan (IPoK)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 5432
Description[?]:
The ban on personal ownership of fireworks is both paternalistic and unnecessary. We are not sure why the Government feels like they need to ban individuals from owning fireworks. The next step is to ban individuals from attending campfires. There was no justification offered for the ban as it was, and we feel that it is better to err on the side of less restriction to individual behavior than more. Therefore the Institutionalist Party of Kalistan calls for the lifting of the restrictions on Fireworks and restoring of the right of Kalistani Citizens to Celebrate as they please. Brandon Robards Acting Speaker of the Institutionalist Party of Kalistan |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
