Bill: PARA - Police Accountability Reform Act of 5434
Details
Submitted by[?]: Soshali Dēmokiratochi - Gira
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 5434
Description[?]:
This Act will partially repeal the "True Justice Reform Act" passed in 5428. Whereas before the TJRA police were not allowed to carry firearms at all, and opposed to the TJRA's blanket allowance for firearms for all police officers, the PARA will still allow specially trained teams to use firearms in the fight against crime. By delegating this responsibility and power to specially trained, small teams under constant observation will help curb police brutality and abuse of power. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
