| Electoral Alliance and Joint Parliamentary Group Agreement Between the Labour Party and Socialists-Ecologists 5448 Preamble: In recognition of our shared commitment to advancing policies that promote social justice, protect the environment, strengthen democracy, and foster peace, the Labour Party and the Socialists-Ecologists 5448 hereby enter into this electoral alliance and joint parliamentary group agreement. This agreement seeks to leverage our collective strengths and resources to achieve our common goals and create a more equitable and sustainable society. Establishment of the Left-Ecologist Alliance: 1.1. The Labour Party and the Socialists-Ecologists 5448 agree to establish the Left-Ecologist Alliance as an electoral alliance to contest elections at all levels of government. 1.2. The Left-Ecologist Alliance shall be governed by a joint steering committee composed of representatives from both parties, responsible for strategic decision-making and coordination of campaign efforts. Advancement of Policies: 2.1. The Labour Party and the Socialists-Ecologists 5448 commit to promoting policies that address social inequalities, protect the natural environment, strengthen democratic institutions, and contribute to global peace. 2.2. The parties agree to collaborate on the development and implementation of legislative initiatives aimed at achieving these objectives, including but not limited to: a. Policies to reduce income inequality, ensure fair wages, and provide support for marginalized communities. b. Measures to combat climate change, protect biodiversity, and promote sustainable development. c. Reforms to enhance transparency, accountability, public participation in government and a renewal of political culture. d. Initiatives to promote peace, disarmament, conflict resolution, and human rights on the national and international levels. Operation of the Joint Parliamentary Group: 3.1. The Labour Party and the Socialists-Ecologists 5448 shall establish a joint parliamentary group in the national legislature, composed of members from both parties. 3.2. The joint parliamentary group shall operate under the leadership of co-chairs appointed by each party, responsible for coordinating parliamentary activities and representing the interests of the alliance. 3.3. Members of the joint parliamentary group shall work collaboratively to advance the legislative agenda of the Left-Ecologist Alliance, including through the introduction of bills, amendments, and motions. Mutual Support and Solidarity: 4.1. The Labour Party and the Socialists-Ecologists 5448 pledge to provide mutual support and solidarity to each other's candidates in electoral contests. 4.2. The parties agree to coordinate campaign activities, share resources, and promote joint messaging to maximise electoral success and advance the goals of the alliance. Review and Amendment: 5.1. This agreement shall be subject to periodic review by the joint steering committee to assess its effectiveness and relevance. 5.2. Any amendments to this agreement shall be made with the consent of both parties and communicated to all relevant stakeholders. In Witness Whereof, the undersigned representatives of the Labour Party and the Socialists-Ecologists 5448 hereby affix their signatures on this electoral alliance and joint parliamentary group agreement, effective from the date of signing.
