It is founded on the principles of freedom, democracy, and the equal dignity of all citizens, regardless of ethnicity, belief, or background. This Constitution guarantees the rights and freedoms of the people of Mikuni-Hulstria and sets forth the framework for a government that derives its powers from the consent of the governed. #### Article 1: Sovereignty of the People 1. All power resides in the citizens of Mikuni-Hulstria. This Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and all individuals and institutions are subject to its provisions. 2. The government of Mikuni-Hulstria is a democracy, where decisions are made directly by the people or through freely elected representatives. #### Article 2: Rights and Freedoms 1. Every citizen of Mikuni-Hulstria is entitled to the rights and freedoms set forth in this Constitution without discrimination of any kind. 2. These rights include, but are not limited to, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, and the right to privacy. 3. The state guarantees the right to vote to all citizens of legal age and sound mind, ensuring free and fair elections. #### Article 3: Rule of Law 1. The rule of law is fundamental in Mikuni-Hulstria. Such amendments require approval by a supermajority in the Legislative branch. #### Article 7: Implementation 1. This Constitution takes effect immediately upon its ratification by the Parlament/Gikai of Mikuni-Hulstria. 2. All laws, decrees, and practices contrary to this Constitution are null and void. |
