| All the people of our nation should have access to needed pharmaceutical drugs. At present, we are helping those on low incomes pay part of the cost of the drugs they need. This is not sufficient. They should have free access to pharmaceutical drugs if they need them. In addition, this will solve the problem that pharmaceutical drugs given to the poor of our nation are often of inferior quality to those that the rich are able to obtain. There should be one high standard for pharmaceutical drugs and these drugs should be available to all who require them. |
