Bill: SLP - 2% Sales Tax Reduction on Non-Essential Goods

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Liberal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2298

Description[?]:

Our goal is to reduce this tax into the ground and if possible reduce it to zero. Our estimates say that we can expect a budget surplus of roughly 2,2 billion DAR. In other words, a balanced budget, which was our goal from day one. We now have a government that ensures access to essential services for all Lusitanians in their individual and collective, pursuit of happiness, while lowering taxes the whole way through.

And we aren't done yet.

Warren Buffett. Finance Minister.
