Voting deadline: November 2324
Description[?]:
The Conservative and Unionist Party supports a higher minimum wage. The Conservative and Unionist Party is concerned with the liberty of the labourer in the workplace. The Conservative and Unionist Party, therefore, wishes to avoid a conspiracy of silence imposed by organised labour. To counteract any possible damage in the system of free collective bargaining, a minimum wage hike would ensure that the poorest would not be left behind. The Conservative and Unionist Party is opposed to secondary strike action and flying pickets that prevent workers breaking a strike from going to work. Furthermore, the Conservative and Unionist Party believes that any industrial dispute that genuinely demands secondary strike action, will have the government administering talks and facilitating discussion, ensuring that employers hear the demands and protests of striking workers. The Conservative and Unionist Party seeks support on this issue. |
