Currently, legislation does not allow for any cooperation between the police and military. This could be extremely detrimental during a time of national emergency such as a war or national disastor. The military should be able to assist the police to maintain order during this time. This bill allows the military to be summoned to work alongside the police during a time of severe national crisis. |
