An opinion poll was held among the citizens of the Federal Republic of Hutori. The subject of the opinion poll was National service. When asked what their opinions were, the following choices were made:

| 10.93% | All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military. |
| 6.02% | All adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option. |
| 14.17% | All adults upon completion of schooling must serve a term of civilian national service. |
| 31.65% | There shall be no mandatory military or civilian national service. |
| 12.66% | All adults upon completion of schooling must serve a term in the military, but can shorten their term/forego it completely by paying a certain amount of money. |
