Leave the AU Campaign[?]

Chair: Henrik Melsbach
Deputy Chair: Dorothea Fischer

Our single aim is to assist a country's aim to leave the AU. We believe every nation should be free of the sovereign-stealing super-state.

We believe every nation should be able to govern themselves, without interference from a supranational political union. The AU is an example of plutocracy in the Terra. It's aim is to turn the continent of Artania into one super-state, a state ran by bureaucrats. We think this is unacceptable.

The AU infringes on our sovereignty by making us adhere to 'resolutions' which we, the legislature, cannot amend or scrap. The resolutions may hinder businesses, increase regulations and try to steal our sovereignty. The AU also requires to give aid to a country which has been attacked. As sovereign nations, it should be our decision to aid a country in a time of need. The AU should not tell us what to do with our available resources. We also have to pay a fee to be part of a failing union. Many have pointed out that the AU is good for trade cooperation between member states. While we understand this, we can still cooperate with other nations, the same way we do with nations outside the AU. We can also set up trade deals with various AU nations.

The AU is turning into a super-state, by infringing upon our national sovereignty, and charging us to do so. The time to leave is now.

We encourage parties who want their country out of the AU to join. We would also like parties from nations outside of Artania who do not like the AU in principle.
