Description[?]:
The Qd Bȝk Ḫȝꜣdtỉ (transliteration: Giqidio Bak Xadtu, translation: Progressive Labor Party) is a left-leaning progressive political party in the Free Kingdom of Hawu Mumenhes. They arise from disenfranchised laborers and descendants of foreigners who have lived in Hawu Mumenhes their whole lives. They strongly opposes nationalism (with few exceptions) and seek to create a better society for the common people. They support more cooperation with the international community and implementing many international laws. The party was founded by Narmer Tept in 4300 in Aqqak, Aqak as the Bȝk Ḫȝꜣdtỉ n sȝs H̱tỉ (Labor Party of the People). However, under his leadership, the party did not receive many votes. Due to this, a young Kalopian-Hawu from Aqak by the name of Alexander Sasmew became the new leader. Under his leadership, the party began to win many elections, eventually becoming the largest party. After the 4327 election, where the party remained the largest, the party was renamed as the Qd Bȝk Ḫȝꜣdtỉ (Progressive Labor Party) for it to look more formal and established. The party would remain as a major party until Sasmew was replaced by Philip Asai, who was unprepared for such a position. The party would lose influence and officially dissolve in 4401 In the beginning of the 46th century, rising interests in republicanism and increased power from the Justice for Ikradon Party resulted in the party being refounded in 4505 with much stronger support for the establishment of a republic. Ideologies: Sasmewism = A variation of socialism created by Hawu President Alexander Sasmew that combines democratic socialism, popular socialism, egalitarianism, and republican democracy. Secularism = The belief that the government should neither promote nor denounce any and all religions or religion in general. Progressivism = The belief that reforms should be implemented to advance society. Left-wing populism = The belief that the people and their opinions should decide on the issues while also protecting the rights of the people. Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
Random quote: "My tenure will be controversial and it is, quite obviously, true that I am the most right-wing Prime Minister this country has seen in several decades.” - Margaret Woodhall, former Dranian politician |
