Optimates (the Aristocrats) is a loose political faction aiming to expand the power of the Senate while gaining seats in the Senate. They aim to have the Union ruled by the rich aristocratic people instead of the Plebeians. Being a very loose faction, their ideology is undefined and the faction contains a broad spectrum of ideas.
