Details
Nation[?]: Poblacht na Choiarlabhan (Kirlawa)
Seats[?] in Dáil Choiarlabhan[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
Formed in March 2578, the Kirlawan Unionist Party aims to represent Kirlawans whose politics lays between the far right and the progressive centre. Thus in principle the KUP are centre-right, but their economic policy is primarily motivated by a desire to maintain the status quo, except in agriculture in which they believes farmers and fishermen should be left free of state interference. The KUP is influenced by the Protestant faith, and appeals largely to Protestants. Its social policy is based upon Christian tenets, and it seeks to reduce the threat to the Protestant demographics and identity of Kirlawa by limiting largely non-Protestant immigrations. Furthermore the KUP retains a degree of anti-Catholic thought, believeing the Catholic Church to be the enemy of freedom. The KUP are diehard supporters of the maintaining a united Kirlawa. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
