After the election of 6430 and winning 11 more seats Isabela Estel Martínez resigned because of the authoritanianism row. Agusto Pablo Yrigoyen was elected as new leader. After Yrigoyen was not able to overcome party crisis and was unable to sit down with the left party and talk hatter he retired. After a short election, popular radical student Elvir Rawson won the party pass. She was the only candidate to recognize the party crisis and the new reform in the party after the party under Yrigoyen turned away from the traditions.
