Description[?]:
The National Reconciliation Council or NRC for short is the ruling body of the State of Vorona. A military junta, the council consists of mostly high ranking military officials and functionaries, who all serve both military and civilian offices following the Voronese coup. The NRC officially seeks to restore a "functioning democratic state" to Vorona but has instead strengthened its grip on power, expelled political rivals, disbanded parliament and its leader, Lucas Kombara, serves as "President of the State" and has near absolute executive and legislative authority. The judicial system was completely disbanded in favour of the existing military courts, who also serve as the civilian courts under the NRC. Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
