Description[?]:
公民黨 Civic Party Political Position: : Centre Ideology: Liberalism, social liberalism, economic liberalism, classical liberalism, secularism, centrism, republicanism The Civic Party Constitutional Issues: The Civic Party is a republican party that ultimately supports a democratically elected head of state. However, we are not radicals, and believe the best way to support our goal is via a long-term constitutional evolution towards republicanism with the ultimate decision resting in the people of Yingdala via a referendum. In the meantime, we can accept a secular, crowned republic, in which the Emperor of Yingdala serves as a secular, ceremonial symbol of the nation. As part of our goals of establishing a more democratic society, we further support changing the title of the Counselor-in-Chief to Prime Minister, to reflect the role of the head of government as a true representative of the people rather than merely a tool of the monarch. Economics: As a liberal party, we embrace free market economics and capitalism as the best ways of generating wealth and prosperity for the nation and its people. However, we recognize that the life circumstances of some people leave them out of this vision in a manner beyond their own control. We seek to established a system that allows the free market to thrive, while providing a safety net to expand this prosperity to all of Yingdala’s citizens. Social Issues: We believe Yingdala is ready to embrace a progressive, inclusive outlook that respects human rights, celebrates the diversity of our minorities, and respects alternate ways of life. To this end, we endorse LGBT rights, support the separation of religion and the state, and believe that, while tradition can play a positive role in guiding society, the government most play an active role in protecting the rights of minorities who may not follow these traditions. Environment: The Civic Party recognizes the preciousness of the vast natural resources and the natural beauty of Yingdala and the entire planet. We endeavor develop means of using these natural resources for the benefit of the nation, while also protecting our natural beauty from exploitation and damage. Thus, we support increased environmental protections and investment in renewable energy within a free market. Civic Party Leadership: President of the Civic Party: 1. Wang Xiaoming (4666- Counselor-in-Chiefs: Want Xiaoming (4671-present) 4666-4671: Extra-parliamentary opposition 4671-present: Civic Party majority government |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
