Description[?]:
Al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun The Muslim Brotherhood Political Ideology Economics: The Brotherhood believes in Islamic socialism, where the government owns the commanding heights of the economy, but small private businesses are allowed. The State shall determine how industry should be run, for that is ultimately more productive for society as a whole. Morality: We demand a return to traditonal Islamic morals and a State who bases their laws of clerical interpretation of Sharia. Under our rule, Sunni Islam shall be the state religion, and its beliefs instilled in everyone. Politics: We believe in Islamic democracy, where the Badaran people elect representatives to the Majilis al Shura who will pass legislation that is in accordance to Sharia. The Caliph shall be the ruler of the nation, and he will be appointed by a council of clerics who have the power to overthrow him should he not follow the faith significantly. |
