Description[?]:
Alliance of Libertarians for Personal Liberties and Economic Freedoms - Freedomites Abbreviation: ALPLEF Motto: The party for liberty-loving individuals. Official Colours: Black/Dark Gray, Golden Yellow Political Position: Right-libertarian Founded: 4910 Founder: Phoenix Kirkland Chairperson: Phoenix Kirkland _____________________________________________________________________________________ Alliance of Libertarians for Personal Liberties and Economic Freedoms, also known as the Freedomites, is a right-libertarian party supporting personal liberties, economic freedoms and minimal government. ALPLEF advocates for a minimal state, believing the only responsibility of the government is to ensure the enforcement of a non-aggression principle by providing policing, military and courts in order to deal with crime. The party believes in maximum personal liberties and supports the individual's right to pursue interests to an extent that those pursuits do not violate anyone's rights. Economically, ALPLEF supports laissez-faire capitalism, advocating for a free market free from any regulations or taxation. ALPLEF can be described as a minarchist libertarian party, supporting meritocracy and maximum freedoms. There is a minority of anarcho-capitalists within the party. They believe that a minimal state isn't enough and that the state should be abolished completely, instead it should be replaced by an autonomous zone under the principles of voluntaryism and the NAP. The party also has a youth wing, the Freedomite Youth sometimes called the Young Freedomites is the youth wing of ALPLEF. The Freedomite Youth is for pro-libertarian individuals ranging from ages 14-23, they organise small events and meetups and participate in pro-libertarian activism. Officially the youth wing is tasked with introducing libertarian philosophy to younger supporters and encoraging libertarian views. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Ideology: Right-Libertarianism Classical Liberalism Laissez-Faire Capitalism Minarchism Meritocracy Minority: Anarcho-Capitalism Voluntaryism _____________________________________________________________________________________ History of Chairpersons: Phoenix Kirkland (4910-Incumbent) |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
