Left Ecologists (Linke Ökologen) was a centre left ecologist party puising to maintian the Dundorf welfare state, ecological sustainabilty and promote internationalism. The first five party leaders have had stints as Bundeskanzler. Three party leaders and two other senior politician of the party have also been Bundespräsident. The party was founded in 5305 by breakaway factions of the DSDP and green student groups at universities. The logo of the party was a green heart representing both its love for the environment and all people in Dundorf.
