Description[?]:
Republican Party of Solentia THE LONG ANTICIPATED ANTI-GOVERNMENT "MOVE FORWARD CAMPAIGN" HAS BEGUN Founded: 2045 RPC Full Minority Leader: Mitch Mcbride RPC Secondary Chairman: Henry Cho Senate Minority Leader: Cathleen Stevens Headquarters: 812 Park Avenue. Halion, Orame The Republican Party traces it roots to the National Commerce Party; a coalition of business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs who sought to modernize the country of Solentia and prepare us for the future. They were supporters of economic expansion through conservative ideals. Deregulation, globalization, outsourcing, free trade, were among the most important issues as they had enough evidence to believe that they would lead to a more powerful and robust economy in the coming decades. In April of 3077, the Board of Directors of the NCP decided that the party needed to change it's image from a pro-business to a pro-people platform. However the policy platform of the Republican Party is almost identical to its predecessor. The Republican Party is now run by the Republican Party Committee (RPC) and is chaired by Mitch Mcbride (former Teshuen representative). Membership Breakdown: 31% Fiscal Conservatives 25% Social Conservatives 19% Libertarians 14% Neoconservatives 11% States' Rights Advocates Platform Policies: We support the deregulation of the economy We enforce the transition from a public to private economy We oppose the theory of climate change We endorse liberty for every Solentian We support the establishment of a strong judicial system We strive to provide world class education for every Solentian We protect your faith We advocate small government legislation We oppose tax increases VOTE REPUBLICAN IN 3094! Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
Random quote: "The 20th century has been characterised by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power; and the growth of corporate propaganda against democracy." - Alex Carey |
