Nation[?]: Gweriniaeth Ffederal yr Alôr (Aloria)
Seats[?] in Cynulliad y Bobl (Assembly of the People)[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
Created recently after a demonstration against the segregationist Alorian Freedom Party, the Latin-Communist Alliance is a group of patriotic Alorians sworn to bring down the racist social order, and bring about the rights of Latin Alorians everywhere. It has come back to Aloria following the upbringing of Maria Castro, who was raised in Hutori. This group has the following stances: *Belief in a permisive society, both in the criminal justice system and in civil rights, *A firm stance against environmental destruction, and encourages low level farming industry. *Upbringing the poor though welfare programs and civil service. *Isolationist in nature, but not standoffish in the international scene. Known to be more permissive with communist or nationalist countries. Maria Castro has come out today, on her birthday, and made an address that is taking Aloria, White and Latin alike, by storm "You know, it is rather funny how we have been treated since we returned to our country. We make reasonable, honest demands, to assure the success and well-being of not just Latin Alorians, but of all the poor. And for that, we get called terrorists, extremists, and secessionists. We have tried desperately to never go too far, and you say that we are mad. We ask that women be allowed to live without the misery of being violated. We ask that the cops not be allowed to break into our homes and beat our children. We ask that we not be jailed at a whim, not abused at someones leisure, not disregarded as madmen." "No one is talking about a civil war except you. We ask for change, and you shoot us down. We ask that all creatures be equal under the law. But you just want us separated to our own. The only people dividing our nation, the only people tearing apart democracy, the only people that demand a re-vote while they hedge their bets are the AFP" "To the people within the AFP, we hold nothing against you. We understand your fear, and your anger. But your leaders refuse to admit that we are alive. That we are human. They bounce the job down to the racist governors in order to get their goals of keeping us in eternal torture. But today, I refuse this idea." "Today, I refuse the idea that the Dundorf and Latin communities cannot be reconciled. Today, I deny the rights of the many to take from the few. Today, all of the poor shall stand and say, "We shall not go quietly into the night!" Today, our official campaign begins. We shall amend this constitution to say that all humans are equal and together, and that no social class or race is more equal than another." -Maria Castro : Head of the NLP |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
Random quote: "The first step in freeing yourself from social restrictions is the realization that there is no such thing as a 'safe' code of conduct, one that would earn everyone's approval. Your actions can always be condemned by someone, for being too bold or too apathetic, for being too conformist or too nonconformist, for being too liberal or too conservative. So it's necessary to decide whose approval is important to you." - Harry Browne |
